What is Vibroacoustic Therapy?

Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT)

Vibroacoustic therapy (VAT) utilizes low-frequency sound waves to deliver soothing vibrations directly to the body. At The Wellness Haus, these vibrations are transmitted through the InHarmony Sound Lounge 1, which is equipped with specially designed speakers or transducers embedded in a comfortable recliner. Users lie down to experience the therapeutic vibrations

Who can benefit from Vibroacoustic Therapy?

VAT can benefit a wide range of individuals, including those suffering from chronic pain, anxiety, stress, arthritis, and muscle tension, as well as those seeking enhanced relaxation and well-being.

Benefits of Vibroacoustic Therapy

  • Provides pain relief by stimulating endorphin release, alleviating various types of pain including musculoskeletal and chronic conditions.
  • Induces muscle relaxation through gentle vibrations, beneficial for relieving tension and spasms, particularly for those with stiffness.
  • Promotes stress reduction by inducing relaxation and calmness, lowering anxiety levels through soothing vibrations.
  • Improves sleep quality as the induced relaxation promotes deeper, more restful sleep patterns.
  • Enhances circulation, benefiting cardiovascular health by improving blood flow and facilitating the delivery of oxygen and nutrients.
  • Increases joint flexibility and range of motion for individuals with limited mobility, aiding conditions like arthritis or Parkinson's disease.
  • Supports rehabilitation and aids tissue healing and recovery from injuries or surgeries through gentle vibrations.

How long does a Vibroacoustic Therapy session last?

  • Sessions can vary depending on the practitioner and the client’s needs.  Sessions can be as short as 15 minutes or as long as 60 minutes.

What does Vibroacoustic Therapy feel like?

  • During a VAT session, individuals typically feel gentle vibrations throughout their body. Most people find the experience extremely relaxing and soothing.

Are there any side effects?

  • VAT is generally considered safe and non-invasive with minimal to no side effects. However, individuals with certain medical conditions should consult a healthcare provider before beginning treatment.

By booking a session you agree that you are 18yrs of age or older, healthy enough to receive vibroacoustic sound therapy or have checked with your doctor prior to session and will show up at scheduled time.
